How to Export Your TV Time Shows, Movies, and Ratings

Export your TV Time data before the service shuts down and import your watched shows, movies, ratings, and episode progress into Listy.

Export TV Time Shows and Movies

TV Time has announced that its app will be discontinued and will no longer offer service after July 15, 2026. If you track shows, movies, ratings, or episode progress in TV Time, request your data export before the shutdown so you can keep your viewing history.

TechCrunch reported that TV Time is directing users to a GDPR-compliant export tool before the app is removed from the app stores.

TV Time does not provide a regular in-app CSV export. Instead, use its personal data export page:

  1. Open the TV Time personal data export page.

  2. Sign in with the email and password linked to your TV Time account.

  3. Request a download of your personal data.

  4. Keep the export page open while TV Time prepares your data. This can take 5 to 10 minutes.

  5. When the download button appears on the page, click it and keep the original export file somewhere safe.

Good to Know

  • TV Time says the service will stop working after July 15, 2026. Request your export before that date.
  • The export is requested through TV Time’s privacy/data tool, not from the regular TV Time app settings.
  • Do not close the export page while you wait. TV Time shows the download button on that page when the file is ready.
  • Keep the downloaded export unchanged until you import it into Listy.

Import on Listy

  1. Open Listy
  2. Tap the top-right Settings icon
  3. Scroll down to Import from other apps
  4. Scroll down and tap on TV Time
  5. Tap on Select your file to import
  6. Find your TV Time export file on your device
  7. All your data will be imported to Listy.

Listy will import all your data from TV Time, including your shows, movies, ratings, and watched episode progress.
